"By the consecration the transubstantiation of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ is brought about. Under the consecrated species of bread and wine Christ himself, living and glorious, is present in a true, real and substantial manner: his Body and his Blood, with his soul and his divinity (cf. Council of Trent: DS 1640; 1651)." Catechism 1413

Perpetual Adoration Chapel

“Time spent in prayer is never wasted, however urgent the duties that press upon us from every side.”

We are honored to have a 24 hour perpetual adoration chapel here at Saint James.

“The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus waits for us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease.” - Pope Saint John Paul II. You have a special hour with the Lord waiting for you.
